The Midnight Blue Organ Trio is a hard swinging group inspired by Jazz organ greats Jimmy Smith, Larry Young and Dr. Lonnie Smith. The trio's repertoire includes compositions by contemporary artists Larry Goldings, Peter Bernstein and John Scofield. All members of the group are veterans of the Bay Area Jazz scene and take joy in keeping the sound of the classic Jazz Organ Trio alive and well.
